Dr. Doan was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and her doctorate degree cum laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Doan received training in ocular pathology and low vision care through her internships at Capital Eye Consultants, the Birmingham Veterans Administration Hospital, and the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind. She specializes in family practice optometry including contact lens fittings, the treatment and management of ocular diseases, low vision evaluations and refractive surgery co-management. Dr. Doan is fluent in Vietnamese. She is a member of the American and Virginia Optometric Associations.
Dr. Doan currently sees patients in Crystal City, Falls Church and Clarendon.
