Dr. Lobaugh earned her bachelor’s degree at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She then earned her doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in 1998. After one year of residency training in ocular disease at Capital Eye Consultants in Fairfax, VA, she then joined Virginia Vision Associates in 1999.
She is thrilled to now join the terrific team of providers at Northern Virginia Doctors of Optometry. She has dedicated her career to providing high-quality eye care services to the residents of Arlington, VA and the greater Washington, DC area. She loves having been a local eye care provider to friends and neighbors for 25 years!
One of the highlights of her training included a humanitarian service trip to dispense eye care and glasses to the indigenous people of Merida, Mexico. She has also volunteered to provide complementary eye care to students through the VSP Mobile Eye Clinic. She hopes to continue to serve the residents of the D.C. Metropolitan area for many more years to come. When she is not in the office, Dr. Lobaugh is a busy mom to three teens in college and high school. Dr. Lobaugh is an Affiliate Doctor with TLC Laser Eye Centers, a position that allows her to effectively co-manage refractive surgeries including LASIK and PRK. She is also certified by the International Association of Board of Examiners in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the optometric Associations of Maryland and Virginia, and the local Northern Virginia Optometric Society.
Dr. Lobaugh currently sees patients in Rosslyn and Falls Church.
