Elizabeth Lobaugh, O.D., is absolutely the best, most thorough optometry specialist I have ever seen. She is attentive to notes from my previous visits & did a better job of explaining a new condition than my ophthalmologist. She is kind & pleasant. The front office staff were cordial & technician who worked with her at the Alexandria location was also very competent. I highly recommend Dr. Lobaugh at Northern Virginia Doctors of Optometry.
Dr. Weiss is a much-needed breath of fresh air. He takes the time to provide comprehensive care, asking genuine questions and addressing any curiosities and concerns. His office simultaneously feels like confidently stepping into the future with its advanced technology while also offering a pleasant glimpse into the past through authentic human connection. He is also an Acuvue preferred provider, which I did not expect or know about, but ended up significantly reducing my annual contact lens cost. Will return!

Dr. Doan at NVDO is wonderful! The eye exam looks at the whole eye as well as vision correction. Dr. Doan asks detailed questions and explains in a manner that is easy to understand. She makes you feel comfortable. Tried a "chain" optometrist that is "in network" for my eye insurance last year and that experience was disappointing. Will be using NVDO.
